Inaside Chicago Dance Youth Summit for the Arts
After the great success of last year's Summit (over 250 youth presented on stage) Inaside is proud to return this event to Oswego to showcase new and returning youth talent.
The purpose of this event is to create an opportunity for youth to come together in a non-competitive setting to present their talent, heart, and passion. From dancers and musicians to singers and painters, these young artists will display their craft at the Oswego East High School for a one evening event. Last year's audience contained over 500 people and we
would love to see that number doubled!
One of the most exciting and unique aspects of this summit is that these students not only share their talents, but partial proceeds from the performance benefit a children's organization, GiGi's Playhouse: Down syndrome awareness centers. Their mission is to increase positive awareness of Down syndrome through national campaigns, educational programs,
and by empowering individuals with Down syndrome, their families and the community. There will be a special performance by members of GiGi's Playhouse at the summit!
Inaside Chicago Dance's main company will perform at the event. Inaside is proud to be a part of an event where performers from different regions are sharing with one another and giving back to other children.
