BC Drama: "Spring Awakening "
May 24-26, 30, 31, June 2 at 7:30 and June 1 at 9:30 pm - $12/$10 Students/BC faculty/staff
2007 Tony Award winning rock musical based on the controversial 1891 German play of the same title. The musical is set in 1891 as teens deal with parental pressure, bullying, abuse, homosexuality, sex, abortion and death. The dialogue sets us in the 19th century while the music and lyrics propel the characters and audience into the 21st. For mature audiences.
