The Wiles, Ian Fitzgerald, Dietrich Strause at the Concord Scout House
New England concert series "The Meeting House Tour" is proud to present three Massachusetts-based roots music acts in concert on August 22nd at 7:00pm. Ian Fitzgerald, The Wiles, and Dietrich Strause will host a night of amazing folk and Americana music in a historic hall.
The concert will be held at The Concord Scout House in downtown Concord, Massachusetts, and tickets are $15.
Ian Fitzgerald is a singer and songwriter. Based in New England, he has toured solo up and down the east coast and through the midwest. Ian has independently released four albums of original material and has become known for his storytelling and skillful use of language. He will be appearing in Concord only a few weeks after his debut performance at the 2015 Newport Folk Festival.

The Wiles are a trio comprised of songstresses Ellie Buckland, Isa Burke, and Mali Obomsawin. Their repertoire reaches across the breadth of American roots music, from centuries-old Appalachian ballads to classic country to contemporary Americana songwriting.
The Wiles are a fan favorite at festivals all over the East Coast; notably the Freshgrass Festival and the Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival, and were recently named the Red Line Roots "Favorite Find of 2014".

Dietrich Strause moved to Boston in 2008, and since then has been touring the East Coast, the West, and Ireland, honing his craft as a songwriter and performer.
Dietrich has recorded and performed with artists such as Lake Street Dive, Anthony D'Amato, Session Americana, and many more.

About The Meeting House Tour:
The Meeting House Tour is a ongoing series of musical events set in historic meeting houses and gathering spaces throughout New England.
The idea was brought to life out of conversations between New England area musicians. The Northeastern United States has an abundance of historic buildings and sites; the churches, meeting houses, town greens, and theaters of quaint villages and mill towns alike.
Bringing a variety of regional talent into these spaces to perform original and traditional music seemed like an effective way to ensure that they are continued to be used by the community to congregate and enjoy an evening of live music.
