Farm to Table Dinner with Chef Michael Olshansky

Join us at Lingrow Farm on Sunday, August 30th for a unique and unforgettable evening featuring ingredients from local, sustainable farms.

Chef Michael "Buzz" Olshansky will prepare a multi-course menu with pairings by craft distillery Disobedient Spirits.
A little bit about Disobedient:

"...your heroes become people who "speak truth to power." People who stand up for women, for minorities, for the poor, for the oppressed, for the colonized: our "Disobedient Spirits." Artisan distilleries themselves are a form of "disobedience." One writer calls them "upstarts." They are the little guys who challenge the big corporations and sometimes win. They are David against Goliath. Drinking itself seems a form of rebellion. We were going to name our first vodka "Samogon;" which is the Russian word for bootleg vodka. When Lenin outlawed all alcohol in Russia, illegal distilleries, moonshiners, sprung up all over the country in defiance of the law: samogon beat down one form of communist oppression. And of course, Southwestern Pennsylvania was the home to two "Whiskey Rebellions." Local farmers risked life and limb to oppose local British authority in the 1750s and US Government excise taxes in 1791. We still find that spirit here."
