Thrill to the tales of Edgar Allan Poe and Edward Gorey in an evening of chilling drama presented by the actors of the Guild of St. George. Haunting works will be enacted throughout the moonlit grounds, including "The Pit and the Pendulum," "The Tell-Tale Heart," "The Gashlycrumb Tinies," and more. Goosebumps guaranteed!
Ages 10 to adult. (May be too intense for younger children.)
* Use the Allen Avenue entrance on the night of this event. For directions to The Huntington please visit www.huntington.org and click on 'visit'. General Parking Only and Parking is Free.
* This event is held outdoors.
* The Huntington Store will be open with Poe, Gorey, and other items for purchase. Complimentary light refreshment of hot cider will be served outside the bookstore.
* Chairs are provided.
* Huntington Cafe will be open 5:30- 7:15 p.m. There will be a select variety of dinner options, desserts, beer, and wine.
* Beer and wine available for purchase in the Garden Court 7-9 p.m.
* Infants, babies, and children under 10 will not be admitted. Please note, no one under 18 years of age allowed without adult supervision.
* This event is so popular we sell out each year! There is NOT a wait list for this event. We do not offer/sell tickets at the door.
* A schedule for the evening will be emailed to all ticket holders prior to the event.
* The running time of each performance is approximately 20-25 minutes.
* The ticket price for this event is $45 per person for Huntington Members and $55 per person for Non-Members.
*If you have lost or misplaced your physical tickets please check-in at the Will-Call table in the Main Entrance. Will-Call will have a complete list of all attendees and will provide you with a replacement ticket.
* Access to The Huntington's grounds for this event is limited to where the performances will be. If you would like to visit all of the gardens and galleries, please do so during public hours. The Huntington's public weekend hours are 10:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
