Lamb Lays with Lion's $
Theater curator Rafael Gallegos presents Lambs Lays with Lion's $ as part of the Fresh Out the Box series of new performance.
Lamb Lays with Lion's $ revisits and reconstructs greedy coke-driven scenes from 80's cinema to challenge what the current generation of young American's preconceived notions are of Marxism and Socialism. $ is a smart sexy romp in irreverent performance that dabbles in hard economic questions. LLwL uses microphones and beats, and all their lighting is self-contained.
Lamb Lays with Lion is an original and experimental performance company based in Brooklyn, NY. They have presented original work at Minneapolis' Guthrie Theatre, The Southern Theater, The Bedlam Theater, The Bryant Lake Bowl, as well as The Rude Mechanical's Off-Center in Austin, TX.
