San Diego Beer Week: Local Habit Brew Masters Dinner featuring Hess Brewing
Join us for this unique food and beer experience as Local Habit Chef Nick Brune and Hess Brewing Founder and Head Brewer Michael Hess collaborate to bring you five delicious courses of farm fresh food paired with five craft beers from San Diego's original nanobrewery.
First Course: White Shrimp Noodles in Fish Fumet with Lemon Zest paired with Claritas Kolsch
Second Course: Grilled Oysters with Habanero Shallot Butter paired with Grazias Vienna Cream Ale
Third Course: Creole Barbie Shrimp with Pain A L Ancienne paired with Deceptio Cascadian Dark Ale
Fourth Course: Smoked Ancho and Cayenne Rubbed Salmon with Bacon Potatoes paired with Amplus Acerba "San Diego Pale Ale"
Fifth Course: Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta with Orange Fritto paired with Pumpkin Stout on cask
Reservations are still available for the 7:30 seating. Reservations are $50 per person, exclusive of gratuity and sales tax. Sales tax of 7.75% will be added to the ticket price at checkout.

Local Habit, which opened in July 2011 is committed to using locally-sourced ingredients and supporting California-based purveyors with sustainable agriculture practices. Located in Hillcrest, the restaurant features organic foods made from scratch using seasonally available, local produce, house cured meats and homemade breads. The menu focuses on Nepolitana-style pizzas and tasty small plates and features a variety of items for people with dietary restrictions. Hi, thanks for the question. Depends on if the dinner sells out prior to the day of. We imagine it will sell out based on current reservations. If it doesn't, we will be accepting walk ins. cheers! |
