A Matter of Size
In the working-class Israeli city of Ramle, weight-challenged Herzl has long suffered the indignities that many overweight people endure. After perpetual, but unsuccessful dieting, he and three of his plus-size cronies abandon their weight-loss support group and train earnestly to enter the world of sumo wrestling, where their size would be respected and honored. This heart-warming comedy focuses on how confidence and even love can arise from determination and the strength of ones character rather than from ones outward appearance. Winner of 3 Israeli Academy Awards.
