Tomato Tasting + Family Fun
Sunday, August 16th 1-3pm

Enjoy an epicurean afternoon at Ambler Farm while tasting and learning about a variety of fresh heirloom, hybrid and "garden variety" tomatoes. Bring the largest tomato from your home garden and the attendee with the largest one will receive a prize! Farmer Jonathan will also take us on a tour of the bountiful Ambler Farm production garden.

We will have a tomato cooking and recipe demonstration on making tomato jam, as well as lawn games including horseshoes and corn hole. We also encourage you to bring a tomato-based dish for sharing at the event (if you plan to participate, please email us the recipe in advance and bring a copy on August 16th).

BYO picnic and blankets or chairs.

Cost: $20/family

Advance registration requested. Members may register beginning July 17th. Tickets to the general public will go on sale July 24th, space permitting. Walk-ins welcome. Rain or Shine. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
