2011 AIA Charleston Beaux Arts Ball
The Emerging Professional Committee of Charleston American Institute of Architects is bringing back the tradition of the costumed Beaux Arts Ball! The event will Oct 6th, 2011 at Lance hall (next to the Circle Congregational Church on Meeting St) and is positioned to raise awareness and funds for the Yo Art! Project. We would like to make sure that this event is welcoming to all design professionals here in Charleston and while it is being put on by the AIA emerging professionals we encourage everyone to attend in costume! This event will be open and advertised to all our allied professionals as well as the many current supporters of the Yo Art Project.
This years Beaus Arts Ball will have an El DIa De Muertos theme (day of the dead) and will be hosted to both raise awareness and funds for the Yo Art! Project. This unique and artistic charity helps bring the creative arts and photography to underprivileged schools here in Charleston.
!! Specialty Adult beverages, Themed hors d'oeuvres will be provided. Music will be provided from our local music talent 'Garage Cuban Band'. A silent auction will be help to Raise funds. Prizes will be awarded for best costumes! Invite your friends, you don't want to miss out!
