Voices of Resistance 10: REVISION
Join us for an evening of original performance by Chicago-based artists, Anjal Chande, Kareem Khubchandani, Chee Malabar, Namratha Rajagopal, and Ahalya Satkunaratnam.
Each performer is varied in their craft and their practices, often interdisciplinary, span the disciplines of dance, theater, performance art, and hip hop.
The program addresses issues surrounding the 10th anniversary of 9/11, in concert with its sister visual art exhibition in Marwen's Untitled Gallery.

The works, developed over a 3 month period of artist workshops and dialogues, address a range of issues, including: nationalism & belonging in America, conflict in South Asia, Islamaphobia/xenophobia in the U.S. and personal hopes for creating a more just and accepting society.

The performance and exhibition are organized by the South Asian Progressive Action Collective.
