Ear Heart Music Presents: Gareth Flowers
Gareth Flowers' solo project stems from his work in contemporary music (ICE) and a deep interest in electronic and electro-acoustic music. Through improvisation and sampling, he builds the dense soundscapes that are the focal point of this project using trumpet and live-processing.

About Ear Heart Music

"Flutist Amelia Lukas' innovative Ear Heart Music series at the Tank has become a staple in the New York new-music soundscape." - Time Out NY

Called "scintillating" and "truly original" by Time Out NY, Ear Heart Music is where New Yorkers can get their aural fix. Featuring some of the city's most cutting edge performers, composers and programming, this is a modern chamber music series presented to an intimate crowd. Our audiences are engaged  not simply entertained  by the music they hear. We nurture our listeners by presenting repertoire that is challenging yet relevant, and by providing context for our work. Most often shows incorporate multi-media elements, electronic processing, performance art, film or dance.
