CBS-Boston's rates Boston Foodie Tours the #2 "Don't Leave Boston Without..."! (SpotDash app.)
Boston Foodie Tours has been featured in the Boston Herald, as well as Foodies of New England magazine. It has also been featured on Boston's longest running news and entertainment program, WCVB's Chronicle, and has been awarded the 2013 Certificate of Excellence by TripAdvisor.
One of Boston's hottest new areas, The Rose F. Kennedy Greenway, is a one mile stretch of land with open spaces, contemporary art, fairs, festivals, a farmer's market, and five parks, all of which are popular with tourists and locals alike.
The Greenway is also the home of several of the city's best street eats, including Food Network and Cooking Channel-featured food trucks. In addition, it's where you'll find the restaurants of celebrity chefs, at least two of whom you may recognize. He has blue hair, and was a Hell's Kitchen semi-finalist. She appeared on Bravo's Master Chefs last year, and is a James Beard Award winner, who also owns one of Boston's few 4-star restaurants.
This tour kicks off with veterans of the Food Network's Great Food Truck race, and ends with a VERY frosty milkshake. Watch out for the liquid nitrogen tank. That thing could hurt you! Oh, and don't be surprised if Chef throws in some cereal, doughnuts, cheesecake, peanut butter, or even French Toast! He likes to do that. We'll also visit a Cooking Channel-featured food truck and Boston's best Vietnamese food truck. Next up, some James Beard-quality bar food, and one of Boston's best lobster rolls. And, in season, how about stopping at the farmer's market for some tasty treats. And don't worry about dessert. We've got that covered, too. It's a surprise takeaway that will knock your socks off!
Join us on Boston's tastiest food tour as we "Stroll. Sample. Savor. Repeat."
Note: A portion of ticket sales for this tour will be donated to the Greenway Conservancy.
