A beautiful, Dutch Jewish cabaret singer joins the Resistance and infiltrates Nazi security headquarters in a major Dutch city. Director Paul Verhoeven (Basic Instinct,Total Recall) depicts a war-ravaged world where, for greed, some Resistance fighters shamelessly betray their comrades and some Nazis, acting out of character, risk their lives to save Dutch patriots.
