Square 1682's Cheesesteak Challenge: High Steaks Part 2

In celebration of Square 1682's second anniversary, we are excited to bring together top chefs to pay homage to our city's signature sandwich and raise important funds and awareness for Philadelphia Academies.

Join us for our block party on Sansom Street on October 16th and enjoy cheesesteak creations from some of the city's top chefs! Ticket holders will determine the second annual "People's Choice" award.
All proceeds will benefit the Philadelphia Academies, a charity dedicated to expanding life and economic options for Philadelphia public school students through career-focused programming, preparing them for employment and post-secondary education.

Competing chefs include: Returning champion Peter Woolsey of Bistro La Minette, returning "People's Choice" champion David Boyle of Davio's, Marcie Turney of Barbuzza, Bindi & Lolita, Mike Stollenwerk of Fish, Daniel Stern of R2L and MidAtlantic, Nick Farina of Verdad, Townsend Wentz of McCrossens and more. Beer will be on sale from Victory Brewers.
