THE LOCAVORE CHALLENGE BBQ
A Northeast Organic Farming Association (NOFA) Initiative Sponsored by Slow Food Hudson Valley
Celebratory All Local BBQ: Join us on Sunday, September 25th at the Epworth Center at 8 Epworth Lane, High Falls, NY 12440 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM and celebrate our regional abundance with a locally grown BBQ meal cooked by amazing area chefs. Other activities include cooking demos and informational sessions conducted by local experts.
The Locavore Challenge: Are you up for the rewarding experience of eating Hudson Valley grown food for 1 day, one week or one month? Right now, join thousands of New Yorkers who are taking on the challenge and learn how easy and delicious local eating can be. Check out Slow Food Hudson Valley's website for helpful guidance and to sign up for the free challenge.
The cost for the food prepared on September 25th will be: $12 for adults, $6 for children from 6 through 12 and free for children under 6.
