Slow Food Napa Valley Summer Brunch
Please join the Napa Valley Slow Food Chapter on Sunday, September 11th for a Summer Potluck Brunch at Ehlers Estate Winery in St. Helena. The event begins at 10:00 am with a reception featuring Ehlers Estate wine. Following the reception, a potluck brunch will be served at 11:00 am featuring delicious pork dishes prepared from a Mule Foot Hog raised locally by Beer Belly Farms. The Mule Foot Hog is a heritage breed featured on the Slow Food USA Ark of Taste. The meal will be followed by a discussion of the chapter's mission statement, goals, and future plans.
The $15 charge covers the roasted Mule Foot Hog as well as wine from Ehlers Estate Winery. Ehlers Estate will also offer a special discount on wine purchases to Slow Food members during the event.
Please bring a potluck dish to share as well as your own dinnerware and flatware. If your last name ends in A-E please bring a salad, if it ends in F-L please bring a side dish, if it ends in M-Z please bring a dessert.
