Birth, a play by Karen Brody (BOLD Cleveland)
Lakewood Masonic Temple Ballroom Lakewood, OH
After collecting more than 100 birth stories, playwright Karen Brody created BIRTH, stories about the experience of giving birth in America today. Understanding the need for women to hear these stories, Ms. Brody began "Birth On Labor Day" (BOLD) a global movement to raise awareness about maternity issues and make childbirth mother-friendly.
Join us at the Lakewood Masonic Hall Ballroom on September 29th for an evening performance of Birth. The performance will be followed immediately with an interactive talkback featuring a diverse panel of birth professionals. Proceeds from the Cleveland event will benefit the Ohio Midwives Alliance.
Please visit http://www.birthonlaborday.com/ for more information about the movement and ohiomidwives.org for more information about midwifery in Ohio.
