Come hither and get some (political) action on Friday August 19th with some of the city's favorite burlesque performers and Washington state's very own NARAL Pro-Choice.
Conceived by Heidi Von Haught, Randi Rascal, and Wiggy Stardust, rePRODUCTION! is fertile ground for sexy satire in response to the recent infringement upon sexual and reproductive freedoms in the United States; specifically the legal redefinition of rape and incest; changes in legislation that encourage violence against abortion providers and allow for misinformation regarding birth control options; and attempts to strip health care providers such as Planned Parenthood of their funding. All proceeds from the show go to NARAL Pro-Choice Washington, the leading grassroots pro-choice advocacy organization in Washington state.
rePRODUCTION! is a variety show featuring burlesque, belly dance, puppeteering, and aerial performances.
