Comedy Returns to El Rio!
Comedian/comedy producer, Lisa Geduldig, began her stand up comedy career 22 years ago at El Rio in San Francisco's Mission District. In commemoration of her 20th year in comedy, two years ago she launched a monthly comedy night, Comedy Returns to El Rio! the second Monday of the month at the club that first put her onstage.

Carla Clayy, Nick Leonard, Karinda Dobbins, and Lisa Geduldig.
Carla Clayy is a native San Franciscan who has spent the last several years making people laugh all over the country. She won the Marshall's Women in Comedy Competition in 2001 and was awarded a guest spot at its Marin County show, sharing the stage with Paula Poundstone, Joy Behar, and Rene Hicks. Carla is a regular at The Punchline, Cobb's, and comedy clubs in such hotspots as Modesto and Chico and has shared the stage with Robin Williams. She is one of the funniest comics in the Bay Area.
Nick Leonard started performing stand up at the beloved Josie's Cabaret in The Castro and has appeared all over the U.S. His comedy graced the prestigious 2004 Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland. That same year, he was also voted one of San Francisco's top 10 comics by Karma.com. The former Cosmonaut and International Bon Vivant is the producer of the monthly gay comedy showcase, QComedy at Martuni's.
Karinda Dobbins hails from from the Motor City (Detroit) and now lives in the Bay Area. Her humor is sharp, distinctive and infused with hilarious social commentary. She has appeared at dozens of venues throughout the Bay Area including The Purple Onion, Harvey's, The Marsh, and The Comedy Spot. Karinda is a breakthrough talent with an unconventional perspective and colorful wit that engages and pulls you in to her aggressively laid-back comedy style. She is fluent in three languages: English, Lesbian Lingo and Corporate-Speak.
