The Delmonic Interviews Spontaneous Combustion Motor City
Spontaneous Combustion Motor City is a festival of improvised comedy hosted by Go Comedy! (Ferndale, MI) in partnership with The Basement Theatre (Atlanta, GA). We feature some of the funniest people you've never heard of, as well as established actors from theater, television and film who have their roots in improvisation.
STARRING: This is a tribute/documentary to the late improv legend, Del Close. In speaking to current and past improvisers who have studied and worked with Del Close, the directors hope to have captured moments and experiences with Del that will shine some light on what Del Close was really like and how committed his life was to the study and crafting of the Art form that is Improvisation. At the same time, by showing how his influence has affected the personal and professional lives of his past students and friends, the directors hope to inspire a whole new generation of improvisers who have not had the opportunity of meeting or working with him, but wish they had.
OTHER DETAILS: We offer a full service bar with table service throughout the show. Free Parking is at the courthouse next door after 5pm. Metered parking is available in the lot across the street. Our box office opens at 6 pm and our lobby is open to the public at 7 pm.
We do not have a minimum age for the shows but do suggest that anyone under 18 be accompanied by an adult.
