Gremet and Sunny Cafe

The Little Theatre
Seattle, WA

Backwards Ensemble Theatre Company, the House of Epicureanism, Sick Leave, and Out for Stardom have teamed up
to produce two absurdest one-act plays by up-and-coming playwright/director Nicholas Robbins.

GREMET (world premiere)A modern, dark fairy tale in the form of a comedic, absurdest, theatre experience, GREMET explores white middle America through the eyes of a smart-ass, love sick and soul seeking youth pestered by insane, quirky characters. Funny, intense, ridiculous, eerie and involving, GREMET will hold your attention to the very end!

SUNNY CAFE (world premiere)An American, absurdest play displaying a day in the life of two pseudo proactive, bourgeois espresso junkies trying to create a great affect on the world one gigantic cup of coffee at a time. Lost and looking for meaning and greatness in all the wrong places, what they encounter today will change their lives forever . . . sort of . . . maybe . . . hopefully.
