Leela & Local Honey (SF Improv Festival 2011)
Ladies like to talk. Ladies like to gossip. Ladies like to sit and be ladies...sometimes. Local Honey, made up of Amanda Austin, Karissa Ross, and Nikki Gasparo, take a single suggestion and talk about it like ladies. They use their lady-like opening scene to inspire a montage of high energy scenes made up of dynamic characters with a focus on patterns throughout the show. It's a sweet show you won't want to miss - did we mention they're ladies...?
Leela brings their inspiring form of improvisation to the SF Improv Festival for the first time. With their brand of honesty and total commitment to whatever is happening at the moment, they have been drawing growing SF audiences into their world for years.
Also a San Francisco-based training center, Leela's every work is based around their mission of truthful, artistic play.
