Lettuce, Turnip the Beet for Springdale Farm at Cafe Josie
Springdale Farm is nearing its last City Council meeting regarding approval of their Conditional Use Permit to continue hosting a limited number of weddings, fundraisers, dinners and educational events on the farm. This will be the most important visit to council to date, and preparations are underway. Cody at Cafe Josie graciously offered the space for this little shindig, and will be preparing small bites, along with chefs from Swift's Attic, Weather Up and Contigo Catering. We'll enjoy the lovely inside and outside space at Cafe Josie, and eat some great food. Beer and wine will be available as well. Bring your great ideas and best wishes for a successful last City Council meeting in August. All proceeds will go to Springdale Center for Urban Agriculture, which operates at Springdale Farm.
