Slagel Family Farm Tour & Dinner with Longman and Eagle & Dukes Alehouse
Dine on the Farm! Come join us on the Farm for a Farm Tour and Dinner September 3rd 2011. Kids are welcome! Want to see where your food comes from? Here is a great opportunity for that. LouisJohn Slagel will begin the afternoon with a tour of his livestock farm. Guests will see a variety of livestock and learn about the old fashioned production practices the Slagels use to produce their farm fresh meat products.
Following the Farm Tour a dinner will be served family style in a new barn next to the livestock pastures. The dinner will be prepared and served by Guest Chef Jared Wentworth of Longman & Eagle and Chef Zak Dolezal of Dukes Alehouse & Kitchen. Wine, lemonade and water will be provided.
Bus transportation to and from the farm will be provided. When purchasing your ticket please select if you would like that option. The Bus will pick everyone up at 2657 N. Kedzie Ave Chicago, IL 60647 at 12:00 noon on September 3rd.
