2005 West Edge Sculpture Invitational Gala Party
On Friday, August 26th, 2005, from 6 to 9 pm, the organizing committee of the West Edge Sculpture Invitational (WESI) is holding a Gala Party in honor of WESI's sponsors, supporters and artists. This years exhibit, running from July 7th to September 11th, 2005, features 37 artists working in a variety of mediums. The sculptures' installation will stretch across three venues: from the grounds and the interior space of Benaroya Hall, across to the outdoor landings of the Seattle Art Museum and on down the Harbor Steps to Western Avenue. Food and beverages for the August 26th Gala has been donated by The Islander Resturant, Chateau Ste. Michelle and Hogue Cellars. There will be live jazz by the Mark Hager Trio. Tickets for this event are $20.00. Special Gala Only Silent Auction of original art by WESI sculptors and others to support future WESI shows - bring your checkbook!
