St Mary's Motor Show

Now in its 13th year and set in beautiful grounds, the St Mary's Motor Show is a family oriented show appealing to a wide range of people. The main focus is of course the cars from classic to brand new. Last year over 500 privately owned cars were exhibited either by individuals or clubs. This year we have an arena where cars will parade albeit sedately.

Trophies attracting a cash prize are awarded for the Best in Show (last year an immaculate flaming red, E-Type Jaguar), Best Motorcycle, Best American and Best Utility. And this year we have TV broadcaster, Jason Barlow as our Special Guest and judge. Jason has been involved in some of television's most successful car programmes, including BBC 2's TOP GEAR and Channel 4's DRIVEN. We're delighted to bring his expertise to the Show's judges' panel and perhaps you too might get the benefit of his experience as a reviewer when considering the merits of the latest models as 18 car dealerships bring their forecourts to the Show. Come and compare makes and models all on one site.

We have a host of different children centred rides, attractions and activities from face-painting to bouncy castles, merry-go-rounds to bungee jumps, sumo wrestling to racing cars. Free driving lessons and simulators might appeal to learners and those keen to take on advanced lessonsand lower their insurance premium. Or perhaps you're looking to enhance your car with spare and customised parts.
If the whole family aren't motor-mad, there's a variety of demonstrations and entertainment in our arena too. Light lunches, burgers and hot dogs, cream teas, cakes and crepes are just some of the refreshments on offer throughout the day as well as local real ales, premium lagers and red and white wines.
