Slagel Family Farm Tour & Dinner July 2nd
Come join us on the Farm for a Farm Tour and Dinner July 2nd 2011. This is a great outing for you and your family! Want to see where your food comes from? Here is a great opportunity for that. LouisJohn Slagel will begin the afternoon with a tour of his livestock farm. Guests will see a variety of livestock and learn about the old fashioned production practices the Slagels use to produce their farm fresh meat products.
Following the Farm Tour a dinner will be served family style in a new barn next to the livestock pastures. The dinner will be prepared and served by Guest chef Perry Hendrix of Custom House Tavern, Jeffrey Hedin of Leopold, Charles Burkhardt of Owen & Engine, and Mike Sheerin of 3 Floyd's Brewery.
Please BYOB; lemonade and water will be provided. We will have Slagel Family Farm products for you to purchase on the farm to take home with you! Bring a cooler to store your products in for the trip home.
