Workshop Description: "In this workshop, we'll examine and work with ways to develop conflict in literary stories. We'll discuss choices and stakes, the importance of tension, and ways to resolve stories without having characters kill themselves, live happily ever after, betray the rest of the story, or do anything too terribly obvious."

This workshop is presented in conjunction with Out of Necessity, a multi-media performance for the National Queer Arts Festival, featuring Achy Obejas and more on June 5, 2011. For more information and to purchase tickets visit: http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/174170
