Solo Homo 9
Join us for the 9th installment of our solo performance series, Solo Homo, at Strawdog Theatre Company's Hugen Hall Cabaret located at 3829 N. Broadway, Chicago.
Audience Information:
Solo Homo premiered in April 2003 in the Loft space of the old Bailiwick Art Center on Belmont. It was produced by Mike Rogers and Timothy Rey. Over the years, it has moved downstairs to Bailiwick's Studio Theatre, onward to Live Bait and Chemically Imbalanced, and finally in 2009 to Strawdog. The series, along with its performance sibling, Working Stiffs, has presented a number of storytellers, monologists, & humorists, singers & musicians, dancers, performance artists, and more.
This year's installment again focuses on the performance of the written word and includes several NTW regulars: Cookie Crumbles, Archy Jamjun, Timothy Rey, Mike Rogers, Sissy Van Dyke, and Michael Van Kerckhove. We celebrate the Solo Homo debut of Mollie Merkell.
Much of the material in the show is intended for mature audiences.
Tickets can be purchased here at Brown Paper Tickets or with cash at the door. Please, no phone calls to the Strawdog Theatre box office.
Online sales end at 3:30 PM. After that, buy tickets at the door.
The show will run without an intermission.
Enjoy!
