The Songs of David A. Austin
An evening of music by David A. Austin, one of the brightest up-and-coming composers in New York. His sound is a one-of-kind combination of William Finn and Jason Robert Brown.
A Seattle native, David now resides in New York where his original musical WRITING ARTHUR is currently taking it's steps to Broadway for the 2007-2008 season. Over the past year, he has been working with Jennifer Maloney, a Tony Award winning SPRING AWAKENING producer of Spring Awakening as well as LEGALLY BLONDE and CHITA RIVERA: A DANCER'S LIFE and Roy Miller, the Tony Award nominated producer of THE DROWSY CHAPERONE. Cast members have ranged from Sutton Foster to Ana Gasteyer to Nancy Opel and Stephen DeRosa as the show has been through two workshops in New York, through TheatreWorks Palo Alto.
