Deep Red

Deep Red is a full-evening show that consists of five movement pieces that are inspired by the life force that runs in our blood, minds, and souls and can be brutal, beautiful, aggressive, as well as subdued and quiet, but always powerful.
Deep Red stands for staying fully open and alive and brings together dancers of various dance forms and artists of different genres. The project builds a symbolic space of exploration of different parts of our being, both for the performers and for the audience. Stylistically, this bold and eclectic project combines various forms and traditions of movement from contemporary and modern dance to what are considered more ethnic dance forms, such as tango and belly dance. With deep respect for each tradition, the artists push the boundaries of each particular style into the space of active exploration and creation.
