Equinox Musical Play
"Equinox" is the story of a day in the life of a homeless shelter. It takes place on the Autumnal Equinox, when there is equal day and equal night everywhere on earth, a picture of balance. As day breaks we see the homeless and their service workers gather on the homeless services center lot to sing "It's A New Day", each expressing their own hopes and dreams for the day to come. What follows is a story of youthful love between our two homeless protagonists, tales of struggle and words of wisdom from survivors of life on the streets, and the angst of not knowing where you will sleep at night, when danger is always just around the corner. Join us in discovering how forgiveness, gratitude and love can be the keys to finding balance in a chaotic world.
