Many Faces
BHS African American Studies Department presents MANY FACES - a look through dance of the transitions that have occurred in the lives of young people; their challenges, joys, and successes. The concert will include African, Modern, hip hop jazz, salsa, gospel, spoken word, visuals to tell life from the students' perspective. This event will take place May 20th, 2011 at 7PM in the Berkeley Community Theater at 1980 Allston Way @ Martin Luther King Jr Way in Berkeley, 94704. Tickets are $12 for Reserved; $8 for general; $5 for students, senior citizens, and children. Proceeds will benefit the African Haitian Dance Program.
