Sushi Chef Dream Team

Top Seattle Sushi Chefs will gather on May 5, 2011 at Bell Harbor Pier 66 for a benefit supporting the relief efforts of Peace Winds America and Peace Winds Japan. Peace Winds America is a disaster preparedness, response, and recovery organization that delivers immediate humanitarian assistance to Japanese earthquake and tsunami victims.

The Sushi Chef Dream team members include Taichi Kitamura of Sushi Kappo Tamura, Hiro Kirita of Chiso, Shiro Kashiba of Shiro's Sushi Restaurant, Ryuichi Nakano of Kisaku, Hideaki Taneda of I Love Sushi (Lake Union), Billy Beach of Japonesa and Yoshiaki Nishizawa of Shūn. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to witness these great chefs come together as a team, working side by side and collaborating on the evening's main course.

In addition, the evening will include signature dishes from our Dream Team Sushi Chefs as well as local favorites Daisley Gordon of Campagne, Tamara Murphy of Elliot Bay Café, and Seth Caswell of Emmer & Rye. Dessert creations will be provided by Hiroki Inoue, Setsuko Pastry, and Fumie's Gold. There will also be wine and sake offerings, a live jazz performance from The Thomas Marriott Quartet, and a silent auction. All proceeds will benefit earthquake and tsunami victims in Japan.

Early Admission begins at 5:00 pm when guests will be able to meet with the chefs, have a photograph taken with the Dream Team, and taste some of their signature dishes. General Admission is at 6:30 pm.
