Boo At The Zoo 2007
Boo at the Zoo is a safe Halloween event for children up to age 12 which features trick-or-treat houses with candy, the Mombassa Ghost Train, a haunted house, games with prizes, and entertainment by children's performers Dennis and Co., Papillion and Johnette Downing.
SATURDAY - The New Orleans Hornets Bookmobile will be handing out books.
SUNDAY - Lowe's Build and Grow Project for Kids
SPECIAL SUNDAY ENTERTAINMENT--October 28 ONLY--One Time Appearance by Roscoe Orman, "Gordon" of television's Sesame Street program. Interactive performance at 5:15 pm.
SPECIAL SUNDAY ENTERTAINMENT--October 28 ONLY--"Darwin", a truly singular theater experience for the whole family with glowing crayon-like creatures will light up the stage with a surprising and moving tale. "Darwin" features a dinosaur that brings the audience along on his journey as he grows and discovers joy, creativity, fear, danger, victory and most importantly...love. 7:45 to 8:45 p.m.
All games and treats, except concessions, are free with admission. Under 1 year of age free. Located at Audubon Zoo, this annual event is a benefit for Audubon Zoo and Parenting Center at Children's Hospital. Sponsored by ABC 26/New Orleans CW 38.
