Al Fresco! Cider & Bounty in the Garden
BITS AND SIPS 5:30-6:30 Explore cider and food pairing stations throughout the Learning Garden. Tasting stations will be hosted by culinary students who have collaborated with WildCraft Cider Works to bring you delectable pairings of cider and food. Stroll through the Learning Garden grounds and see what the students have accomplished and what will be served from the garden on the evening's dinner menu!
CIDER & BOUNTY DINNER IN THE GARDEN 6:30-8:00 Imagine a warm summer evening in the garden, outdoor elegance, treating your staff or guests to dine on farm tables made by students from Lane's woodshop, food picked fresh from the Learning Garden, inspired by your favorite WildCraft Ciders, music lofting, and an entertaining program hosted and emceed by our Culinary & Hospitality students.
Dinner Menu:
Grilled apples and Brie with a Hard Cider Syrup
Summer Greens with Grilled Corn, Roasted Chilies, Pickled Onions and Lilac Blossom Cider Vinaigrette
Licorice Fern Cider Marinated Grilled Fennel, Squash, and Peppers
Garbanzo Bean and Summer Arugula Salad with Wild Rose Cider
Grilled Green Beans with Nettle Cider Marinated Tofu
Snake River Rye Cider Braised Pork Shanks
Spiced Hard Apple Cider Almond Cake with Snake River Rye Cider Caramel Sauce
All proceeds from this event will go to support Lane's Learning Garden, continuation of side by side learning for Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management students, and technology upgrades for the Center for Meeting and Learning.
