The RE Store's Trash Fashion Show
The RE Store is partnering with Robin Worley and the New York Fashion Academy for this community tradition, to inspire creative reuse and get people thinking differently about their garbage! The show challenges professional and amateur designers and artists to craft fashion designs from a minimum of 90% reclaimed materials. Come see ball gowns, wedding dresses, warrior wear, and futuristic accoutrement made with everything from carpet padding and vinyl flooring to erosion control netting and more!
The Trash Fashion Show is the capstone event in The RE Store's 10th Annual Recycled Arts & Fashion series, featuring four galleries, four Trash Fashion Shows and workshop events.
