HANDS ON is the first in a series of food experiences along the theme of mechanical gastronomy, where we observe the intersection of food and mechanical processes. Starting with human tools and evolving (devolving?) into computerized robotics, the series will be an adventurous meal for people who love to eat and think about how and what they eat.
Thought For Food invites you to come prepare and eat a (quasi) traditional Italian meal with nothing but basic ingredients and our hands. Anything that creates distance from the hand to the ingredient and the mouth will be removed. The process will be guided, but it is up to you to discover, be creative, and have fun. Participants will be working in pairs (bring a friend!).
We look forward to an evening of wine, intelligent critique and really messy hands. Bring your own apron!
