Duck Duck Duck Goose
On Wednesday, May 4th, at 7 p.m. Guest Chef Joshua Stokes of Grill-a-Chef will create a four-course duck pairing menu, using Hudson Valley Duck and seasonal ingredients. Rare Goose Island beers will complement the meal, including the limited Three Sisters' beers: Lolita, Juliet, and Madam Rose.
Josh Stokes' philosophy for the Grill-A-Chef project: "Acting as Grill-A-Chef personally I guide cooks through their own kitchens, in order to encourage cooking and eating well. I offer free advice in the form of tips, recipes, fundamental techniques and simple demos. Use an unfamiliar ingredient, try a new style... I hope to inspire creativity in the kitchen and to help your ideas to the table!"
The Duck Duck Duck Goose dinner was originally envisioned to celebrate former brewer Greg Hall, who made these special, limited edition beers. However, Goose Island will now be represented at the dinner by lead cellarman Brian Taylor.
