The Fifteenth Annual Literacy Network Breakfast
The 15th Annual Literacy Breakfast will address the continuum of life's literacy growth during the early childhood, teen and mature adult years and feature Barbara Strauch as the keynote speaker. Ms. Strauch is the distinguished deputy science editor of The New York Times and noted author of books including The Secret Life of the Grown-up Brain. Also on the program are Dr. Holly Kreider, Director of Programs at the Raising A Reader National Office, and Carole Groom, President of the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors. Several library staff will display information about innovative programs related to teen literacy.
