Canadian singer, dancer, actor, and songwriter Scott Freethy presents Scott and the City Brave New Worlds Edition, the fifth edition of his acclaimed musical extravaganza, with special guest: Marisa McIntyre (Mamma Mia, CBC-TV's How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?, The Music Man).

Scott Freethy, his co-stars, and a live band, entertain audiences with performances of their own arrangements of Top 40 pop song covers, mash ups, and original songs, while Scott shares touching and hilarious personal anecdotes of love, loss, heartbreak, friendship, family, and whatever else this talented performing artist happens to be up to while living life in Toronto, as a single man and honing his talents.

Scott Freethy was a young, hockey playing farm boy from Rosetown, Saskatchewan who began singing lessons at five, released his first single at 15, and left home at 18 to pursue a career in the performing arts and never looked back. After studying at Sheridan College, The Royal Conservatory of Music and the University of Saskatchewan, he has managed to find steady work in the performing arts, as a triple threat, in Toronto, Vancouver and Los Angeles. He performed in the Canadian production of Mamma Mia in Toronto and Vancouver; shared the stage with The Barenaked Ladies, Amanda Marshall, Eric McCormack, McMaster and James, and many other inspiring performers; taught at the Oakville Academy of the Arts, and performed with Hit & Run Productions. After losing his mother to breast cancer, Freethy began producing and performing in a series of successful benefit concerts in Saskatchewan and Toronto with proceeds benefiting the Breast Cancer Foundation.
