A NIGHT AT THE (AUSTRIAN) MUSEUM: The Neue Galerie
Experience a night of Austrian art and indulgence with an after-hours tour of "Birth of the Modern: Style and Identity in Vienna 1900" followed by a four-course dinner from chef Kurt Gutenbrunner paired with Austrian wines. After being welcomed with hors d'oeuvres, you'll be whisked away on a private tour of the exhibit, which showcases 20th-century Viennese works, furniture, clothing and accessories. The transporting evening will continue at dinner, featuring dishes such as poached Maine lobster with pineapple, vanilla and bok choy; and parsley crusted lamb with artichokes. Wine Director Leo Schneemann will pair each course with Austrian wines, while he and chef Gutenbrunner lead you through their well-curated meal to make your Austrian immersion complete.
Event Details:
$145 for a private tour of the museum's exhibit, hors d'oeuvres and four courses paired with wine; tax and gratuity included.
