Can Can Presents: Lady Rizo!
Lady Rizo: Unescorted back in Seattle!

The incomparable "cabaret star" (NY Magazine) Lady Rizo is back for an unchaperoned evening of song and decadence.  Let her lashes beguile you as she interprets an irresistible mix of popular songs from all eras backed by some of the finest musicians money and sexual favors can buy.  You might be even lucky enough to hear an original or two.

Her seamless mix of bawdy humor and elegance has been likened to Mae West but its her vocal chops that have garnered recent attention: collaborating with Yo-Yo Ma on a Grammy winning album, Songs of Joy and Peace, singing for Moby's international hit single Pale Horses,  performing selections from the American Songbook with the acclaimed 36 -piece orchestra The Knights, and helming the entertainment for much anticipated new NYC supperclub The Darby.  She performed in two recent heralded theatrical projects, Taylor Mac's The Lily's Revenge and Young Jean Lee's Untitled Feminist Multimedia Technology Show.

Press quotes:
