Flexing the Boundaries: Writing and Yoga Fundraiser for MVOT Saturday, June 13 1:00-5:00pm Hillman City Collaboratory (5623 Rainier Ave S. Seattle 98118) Suggested donation of $75
This workshop combines our favorite things: writing, yoga, delicious food and supporting young writers of color! Join us for an afternoon of exploring your identity.
Urban Mystic Sweta Saraogi will lead a 90 minute yoga session followed by a late lunch prepared by the youth of Many Voices One Tribe. Award winning journalists Sarah Stuteville and Reagan Jackson will follow that with a writing workshop designed to get your creative juices flowing.
All proceeds will go towards supporting the inaugural voyage of Many Voices One Tribe, a study abroad program from young writers of color. They will be traveling to Mexico this July.
