This workshop combines our favorite things: writing, yoga, delicious food and supporting young writers of color! Join us for an afternoon of exploring your identity.

Urban Mystic Sweta Saraogi will lead a 90 minute yoga session followed by a late lunch prepared by the youth of Many Voices One Tribe. Award winning journalists Sarah Stuteville and Reagan Jackson will follow that with a writing workshop designed to get your creative juices flowing.

All proceeds will go towards supporting the inaugural voyage of Many Voices One Tribe, a study abroad program from young writers of color. They will be traveling to Mexico this July.

More About Many Voices One Tribe:

Travel and writing are the catalyst to a deeper exploration of our identities and our place in the world. Our inaugural voyage will take place July 12-26. http://www.manyvoicesonetribe.com/ Reagan Jackson is the founder and director of Many Voices One Tribe, a unique study abroad opportunity for young writers of color. Sweta Saraogi is an urban mystic, who seeks to learn through experience, integrate spirituality and the principles of yoga into everyday life. Sweta's mission is to share the gifts of yoga with all. She strives to bring the philosophy of yoga to our modern day western life through teaching, writing, sharing, serving and driving positive change. Her teaching style is a delightful mixture of mythological storytelling, playful movement, safe yet dynamic sequencing, and precise instruction filled with intuitive and healing hands on adjustments. She leads a private yoga practice in the Greater Seattle Area, serves on the Board of Street Yoga as a Treasurer, and is a contributing writer for the Huffington Post.
