2011 Sausalito Floating Homes Tour
For its 26th year, Sausalito's colorful floating homes community will open its doors to visitors. The self guided tour takes visitors inside about 18 of the most unique homes in the world. Docents will also be on-board to describe the unique waterfront lifestyle and answer questions.

how do I drive to the starting point of this tour? I will be coming from Berkeley. |

Take the Richmond Bridge to San Rafael, then go south on 101. Take the Sausalito/Marin City exit, turn right twice and part in the Gateway Center parking lot. We have a shuttle from there. |

How do get there if I'm planning on taking the ferry from San Francisco and will have my bike? Also, are there more than just the 11am shuttle? The first ferry into Sausalito is 11:10 on saturdays |

The shuttle is for bringing people from the parking lot, not from the ferry. If you have a bike, we are about 2 miles north of the ferry landing. Just take Bridgeway north until you reach the freeway, and turn right. We are about 50 yards ahead on the left in the Green. |
