In The Loop Story Slam

In the Loop is having a Story Slam. You bring your best story -- we'll supply the microphone, the audience, and five minutes to tell it, and tell it well. The theme is "Escape." Answer the call with fiction, nonfiction, poetry, song -- surprise us. All you need to bring is your story, sign-up before 7pm, and we will draw names from a hat. If your name is pulled you go on stage. When you are done, we'll buy you a beer. Or, of course, you can come just to listen. Jeff Horwich hosts along with In The Loop's house band, The Smarts; who will make lots of noise if you go too long. Storytelling is an art. Keep your audience on the edge of their seats. Take the theme and run with it!
