The key outcomes for this workshop is to help youth leaders,parent, educators, mentors and community become more equipped to work with gang involved or at-risk you.
1. Identify primary risk factors for gang affiliation
2. Remove stereotypes and gain a true understanding of gang culture
3. Develop effective techniques and strategies to work with gang affiliated youth
4. Identify the roles of parents and guardians in encouraging/discouraging gang connections
