Dakshina Palli Inc/ The School present CONTEMP-NATYAM 2011. Contemp-Natyam is an esthic merger of east and west merging
Bharata Natyam ( South Indian Classical Dance) and American Modern dance with choreography by Founding/Artisitic Director: Jaan R. Freeman.The program will feature students of the school in both classcial and contemporary choreography with a classical base.
The program will premiere Mr. Freeman's "The Best of 1964 & "Mediterranean Band" and the revival of Folk Songs of Sri Lanka (2006) and OLI (2006) to a score by Sri. Badal Roy with live tabla and vocals by emiliano Valerio.
