Autonomy
Autonomy tells the story of Steph, a 19 year old raped on her college campus by a friend. In making the brave decision to go ahead in prosecuting the crime, her school must come to terms with questions such as "How did it happen?" "What was the relationship of those involved, and how might that affect this situation?" "How might others react to hearing about the event, and how might life at the school change, or need to change?" "Why do these crimes often go unreported, or have their stories become distorted in some way?"
Each reading will be preceded by a presentation by H. Marie Williams, a clinical exercise physiologist and owns and operates a behavioral health intervention business and author of The Remedy, a pulls-no-punches story of recovery.
